Artists working on London Voices encouraged an imaginative approach to the National Trust properties. On this page you can see and hear some of their responses to the properties.
The creative approach had many strengths:
Often not much is known about an object or building and the gaps are open for interpretation. To hear different responses to this opens up and enriches the gaps.
Many National Trust properties represent the efforts of amazing artists and creative people in the past - it is important to make the connection between artists working today.
Imagination allowed families and artists to have fun with mythical creatures, adventures and fiction - allowing the properties to be sites of creativity and exploration.
You can also view our galleries of families responses to National Trust properties - through the medium of puppetry, story and visual art.
